Entertaining but I'm not sure how much people really learn
As with so many reality shows, this one has changed emphasis since the first season to focus less on learning to cook and more on the personalities and drama. It seems the producers are hell-bent on picking the most extreme types of people to work together and see how the fireworks fly.
Thanks to the editing, I'm never sure if there are many more hours of cookery lessons that we don't see or if the contestants are playing down their kitchen skills at the beginning of the season. Otherwise, from the very limited amount of training that's shown, it seems unlikely that so many would improve the way they do.
Still, it's entertaining TV and chefs Anne and Bobby are always fun to watch. I wouldn't say I learned much myself this season other than what not to cook from the opening episode when the characters were chosen. It's a shame the format has changed so much since when the show first aired.
The worst group yet!!!
I almost fell out of my chair from laughing too hard. These people are so clueless its hear breaking. "I wanted to put a sear on the chese." so he puts it on the grill? After 4 weeks they are using take out? Why go to boot camp if you aren't going to cook?
Oh well the final 4 can cook at lease.
Great Show!!!
Some of the contestants can quickly get on your nerves, but I have been watching this show since the very first episode and find it can be entertaining and somewhat educational for a novice cook. I have even gotten a few good dinner ideas from the show.
