Alice in Wonderland

When I first saw this movie I thought it was made in 2013 it is not, it was made in 1986 but put on dvd in 2013, being filmed in 1986 it does have that stage look that most movies produced by the BBC had in the 80's (think "Chronicles of Narnia).This dvd is a musical and despite being blue on the cover Alice's dress and headband are pink.

A dud
One of the weakest Alice films, this two-hour bore (Admittedly, it originally aired in 4 parts), is slow and stilted, with only the sequence with the Duchess recalling the snap of the book. Unmemorable songs bring everything to a halt. On the plus side, the colors are bright, and there are some nice sets, performances and costumes.This is the only live-action Alice without a single recognizable face in the cast, although I hear that several of the actors were in "Doctor Who". This is second longest ALICE ever made, and it definitely feels like it.

I love it
This was a gift to my daughter as she loves all things that are connected to Alice In Wonderland. She's slowly collecting everything she can of the various movies.
