These are 'coming to terms with mortality' tales. The characters are all young and have to come to terms with both their undeserved deaths and the facts of their short lives. there's action with drama and comedy. All is entertaining. There is no sex or nudity and the violence is not gory.
Unbelievably good
This anime is a very good ride. There is a healthy mix of action, drama, comedy all put together wonderfully. There are plenty of interesting stories and ideas that come through in this series and you will very much enjoy it. 10/10 would watch again and will be buying the DVD.
Very good anime
Had comedy, drama, and mystery. Ending throws you for a quick loop, and the rest was very enjoyable to watch.
